LATAR BELAKANG:
Tata letak pabrik (plant layout) atau pengaturan dari fasilitas penunjang produksi dan area kerja yang ada adalah suatu masalah yang sering dijumpai dalam dunia industri rekayasa. Sekalipun cuma sekedar mengatur peralatan atau mesin di dalam bangunan pabrik yang ada maupun dalam ruang lingkup kecil dan sederhana.

Tata letak yang terencana dengan baik sangat menentukan efisiensi dan dalam beberapa hal juga menjaga kelangsungan hidup ataupun kesuksesan kerja suatu industri, karena sebagai dasar untuk membuat operasi kerja menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien. Peralatan produksi yang mahal harganya, peralatan yang canggih, dan suatu disain produk yang bagus akan tidak ada artinya akibat perencanaan tata letak yang sembarangan saja.

Karena aktivitas produksi suatu industri secara normalnya harus berlangsung dengan tata letak yang tidak selalu berubah-ubah, maka setiap kekeliruan yang dibuat di dalam perencanaan tata letak akan menyebabkan kerugian-kerugian yang tidak kecil. Untuk mendukung sistem produksi yang memadai diperlukan tenaga kerja yang handal atau peningkatan keahlian tenaga kerja profesi Perancangan Tata Letak Pabrik (Plant Layout).

7.    Perencanaan aliran pemindahan bahan

SUGENG ISDWIYANUDI, Ir. MT. And Team
was graduated from politeknik universitas brawijaya malang for his diploma in mechanical engineering majoring on mechanical maintenance and repairing, from ITS Surabaya for his bachelor in mechanical engineering majoring on production engineering, and from ITB Bandung for his master program in mechanical engineering majoring on production engineering.

Now he is as lecturer at mechanical engineering Politeknik Negeri Bandung(before as poltek ITB). Ir. Sugeng Isdwiyanudi, MT. has followed many trainings/courses to improve his competence.

In campus he has many experiences e.g.: as head of Laboratory industrial Metrology POLBAN, as head of Laboratory Metrology POLBAN, as director SPMU TPSDP POLBAN (ADB Loan 1792-INO), director asistant administration and finance SPMU TPSDP POLBAN (ADB Loan 1792-INO), head of production research group POLBAN, head of department mechanical engineering P4D, department secretary of mechanical department P4D, head of Laboratory Pneumatics and Hydrolics P4D. He invites industrial participants to share and discuss in his training class.
